Trithings.com Sponsors Florida Beach Blast Triathlon

December 2006

This last summer we were asked to sponsor ‘The Beach Blast’ Triathlon Series in Florida and we were happy to help out. We donated prizes for the race director to use as they saw fit. After a successful race season we are proud to announce we will once again be sponsoring ‘The Beach Blast’ for 2007. For race information please visit their site at http://thebeachblast.com

TriThings.com Sponsors Local Team and Event

July 2006

“As part of Xthings Manufacturing’s policy of giving back to the community, and to sports, we are announcing TriThings.com’s sponsorship of the Liberty Lake (Washington) Cycling Club and the Valley Girl Triathlon in Liberty Lake, Washington on Sunday, July 16, 2006” said Xthings Manufacturing co-president Jon Pool. “As a new company we don’t have a lot of money to throw around so our sponsorship takes the form of donating items and time. For the Liberty Lake Cycling Club that has meant working on their website and for Valley Girl Triathlon we are donating prizes for their raffle.” “When we decided to go into business community support was something we talked a lot about,” added Xthings other co-president, Ron Lahr. “We haven’t reached a point revenue wise to do all the things we plan on doing but we wanted to make sure we did something in our first year of business.”

Xthings Manufacturing Owner Finishes Ironman Coeur d’Alene

July 2006

Jon Pool isn’t just a co-founder of Xthings Manufacturing, the company that owns the www.Trithings.com website; he’s also a triathlete himself. The 2006 Ironman Coeur d’Alene marks his first Ironman after three years of increasingly intense training. Jon finished Ironman in the scorching heat, just happy to finish. He has participated in numerous runs and triathlons. It was Jon’s becoming a triathlete that lead to the founding of the www.trithings.com website because he wanted to purchase things that had a triathlon theme and couldn’t find much. “What I did find wasn’t very nice quality, either,” Jon said recently at the Xthings Manufacturing Facility in Post Falls, ID. “I am proud of being a participant in this difficult sport and wanted some nice things that demonstrated my involvement. I couldn’t find much so we started our own company.”
